Low-velocity, dense phase systems can handle a range of materials, including brittle, abrasive, damp, dry, lumpy, or uniformly sized materials, while protecting the integrity of both the product and the equipment. Our custom-tailored solutions are often designed for particles that dilute phase systems struggle with or that mechanical systems cannot transport without spillage.
Another product manufactured by Mactenn Systems are our Inflatek Valve™. These pressure valves perform to a high standard under the demanding conditions common in many industries.
The pressure vessels we design comply with a variety of standards such as PED and ASME.

Company History
The company was started in the United Kingdom under the Macawber name in Doncaster, Yorkshire in 1973. In 1976, Macawber expanded to the United States with the establishment of Macawber Engineering, Inc. located just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Today, Macawber Group is a tight knit company with a family feel and an international presence. We are run by a group of individuals who bring professionalism, energy, the ability to think outside the box and adapt to new situations.

1984
Macawber Engineering Ltd. in the UK is sold, and the US location becomes the headquarters

Macawber returns to Europe with the establishment of Mactenn Systems Ltd. in Acton, UK
1995
Macawber expands to India with the establishment of Macawber Engineering Systems Pvt. Ltd.

PDL Sistemas Ltda., signs a Licensing Agreement with Macawber creating a presence in Brazil
